Build Relationships to Build Your Business

The best way to increae your business is to increase relationships. Your business success is directly proportional to the number of relationships you build with other business owners and employees.

I believe in six degrees of seperation. This is the theory that you are seperated from someone you know by six people. I say that you are seperated from a sale by six people. So how do you begin. You meet as many people as you can. Get together with people you meet at networking events and have a cup of coffee at Starbucks. You intent should be to get to know them, not to sell them anything.

You cannot sell anything to anyone. People buy from you. And they buy from you because they like you and because you have established a relationship with them.

The "one-on-one" or "one-to-one" meeting is a powerful tool for building business realtionships and creating a marketing opportunity. Set up at least two one-on-one meetings per week. Enjoy your coffee and build that lasting referral relationship.
